2016 Nissan Altima in Amherst, NY
Coming Soon to Mike Barney Nissan - the 2016 Altima
When Nissan set to redesign the Altima, they wanted it to be fuel-efficient, fun to drive, and emit style inside and out. This was more than accomplished with the release of the 2016 Nissan Altima in Amherst, NY. The 2016 Altima will hit our showroom floor here at Mike Barney Nissan this November, so make sure you’re first in line to take the one for a test drive.
As you drive down Youngmann Memorial Highway in the 2016 Nissan Altima, you are sure to make an impression. The redesign gave the Altima a wider, more aggressive look with strong, athletic lines. The front end is altered due to the distinctive V-Motion grille and lowered front fascia. Nissan has used signature boomerang headlights on other models, but they make their first appearance on the Altima this year as they integrate effortlessly into the aerodynamic profile. The taillights also have a new look as they stretch across the trunk to be more eye-catching and dynamic.
The interior of the Altima has always been comfortable and luxurious, but the 2016 Nissan Altima coming soon to Amherst, NY, has a refreshed interior with subtle changes throughout. Like before, the Zero Gravity Front Seats offer uninterrupted support from the pelvis to the chest, and the seat cushions flex in response to your unique pressure points. This not only gives you out-of-this-world comfort, but also helps reduce fatigue. When you drive the Nissan SR, you’ll experience a newly designed sporty interior with charcoal cloth, a leather steering wheel and shift knob, and contrasting blue stitching throughout the cabin.
To make the 2016 Altima fun to drive, it had to be fully stocked under the hood. You can choose from two engines that have been redefined to be more powerful and fuel-efficient than ever before. The 2.5L 4-cylinder engine produces 182 horsepower and a best-in-class1 fuel rating of 39 MPG highway2. For a more exhilarating driving experience, go with the 3.5L V6 with 270 horsepower and 32 MPG highway3.
In addition to a powerful engine, the technology features inside the 2016 Nissan Altima also make it fun to drive. The full-color 7-inch multi-touch display is the central location for all the latest technology advances – one being the Siri Eyes Free System4. In the mood for pizza? Simply say, “Siri, find me the nearest pizza restaurant” and Siri can direct you to Leonardi’s Pizzeria. Siri can also read your emails to you, post to various social media sites, tell you the score of the Jets game, and more. Other technology features include Navigation with SiriusXM® TravelLink™5, remote start6 using your smartphone, emergency call, and more.
The latest technology should also keep you safe, and the redesigned Nissan Altima has a suite of safety features so you have a more confident driving experience. For help reversing out of parking sports, the available RearView Monitor7 shows you what is behind you on your color display screen, and the Rear Cross Traffic8 Alert warns you of vehicles approaching from the side. Safely change lanes with the Blind Spot Warning System9. And set a safe distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you with Intelligent Cruise Control10.
