Joe is Back!

I’m very excited to reach out to you to tell you about all the incredible things happening here at Mike Barney Nissan.

For more than 35 years I held numerous positions within the organization from Sales Manager to President. Regardless of my role, I had one singular focus, which was to make sure that our customers had the easiest, most enjoyable car buying experience possible and drove off as friends of the dealership. Many of you know this as you’ve purchased numerous vehicles from us.

Thinking my job was done, a few years ago, I stepped back to a lesser role to let others steer the ship. To my surprise, dozens of customers reached out to me. I received calls, texts, emails, some even looked for me at the dealership, pleading for me to return. They asked me to bring back the fun car buying experience and exemplary service we were famous for. I was truly humbled and I heard you loud and clear.

So, in April I bought my partners out and came back to work, full-time, for the dealership and customers I love so much. I brought in a new partner, Scott Horvatits. Scott and I have worked together for years and he shares my philosophy of building strong relationships with customers while taking the best possible care of them and making their experience stress free and even fun! In other words, he’s me, only 20 years younger! 😂

The last piece of the puzzle was to bring in the best, most energetic General Manager, who shares our love of working with people. That’s exactly what we found in Jerome Masters. Jerome’s people skills are second to none, and he always finds a way to get our customers into the vehicle they want and well within their budget.

I’m so very proud of the customer-friendly team we’ve assembled. Please consider this your personal invitation to stop out and meet everyone. Whether you’re in need of a new vehicle or just want to say hello, we’re always excited to hang with our old customers and meet all the new ones.
